ERIC Clearinghouse on Adult Education.

The ERIC/AE collection contains organizational material, correspondence, financial records, printed material, and reports related to ERIC/AE and its predecessor, the Library of Continuing Education. Printed material includes information sources, occasional papers and newsletters published by the Clearinghouse. Writings by Alexander N. Charters, Margaret Charters, Roger DeCrow, Stanley M. Grabowski, Charles Hoover, Huey B. Long, John A. Niemi, John Ohliger, Sara M. Steele and Coolie Verner are included.

Institutes of Religion and Health.

The Institutes of Religion and Health was formed by the merger of the Academy of Religion and Mental Health, and the American Foundation of Religion and Psychiatry, with its Blanton-Peale Graduate Institute. The merger combined the resources of two long established and widely known interfaith, interracial, interdisciplinary, nonprofit, tax-exempt agencies serving human health and well-being. Collection comprises organizational records including general files, correspondence, financial records (balance sheets, budgets), and printed material (annual reports, bulletins, newsletters).

New York Review of Books.

Correspondence, incoming and outgoing, of the publisher, advertising manager, and business manager; production papers consisting of editorial, printing, distribution, and advertising records, including review assignment sheets; financial and legal papers, including authors' payment lists, bank statements, budgets, contracts, cost estimates, and remittance lists; and manuscripts, includings tables of contents for various issues, lists of contributors, articles, book reviews, letters, movie reviews, poems, and theater reviews, mainly revised printers' copies.

Wickersham, Cornelius W. (Cornelius Wendell), 1884-

Papers of the military officer and lawyer. Collection contains legal material (includes papers concerning Interstate Commerce Commission, 1931; various cases involving commerce and transportation including railroads, 1929-39), military files (photographs and papers), and public service material (topics include education and Nassau County Bridge Authority).

Adult Education Association.

The Adult Education Association of the U.S.A. (AEA-USA) was formed in 1951 by the merger of the American Association for Adult Education (supported by the Carnegie Foundation) and the Department of Adult Education of the National Education Association. In 1982, the AEA-USA combined with the National Association of Public School Adult Educators (NAPSAE) to become the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE). The collection contains material from both organizations.

Commission on Adult Basic Education (U.S.)

Records and papers of the adult education and literacy organization. Collection includes conference planning and programs, minutes, published material, newsletters, membership directories, policies and procedures, bylaws, treasurer's reports, strategic planning files, historian reports, more.

Industrial Designers Society of America.

Administrative papers from several earlier organizations, including the American Society of Industrial Designers and the Industrial Designers' Institute, which merged into the Industrial Designers Society of America in 1965; bound material including minutes and scrapbook; audio-visual material including slides, films, and tapes; printed material; and memorabilia.
