Abstract:
The papers of the American poet include correspondence (1862-1973), family as well as that related to his editorship of Poetry magazine; minutes of the Modern Poetry Association (1950-1962); family diaries, financial papers, photographs, scrapbooks, and manuscripts that include material on a translation of "Les Fleurs du Mal" by Baudelaire, produced in collaboration with Edna St. Vincent Millay, and other translations of French authors, including Giraudoux, Prévert, and Ronsard.
